Participated in an event for the Health Center at UC Irvine. Originally it was a chalk-on-sidewalk art event, but since the weather forecast said it would rain, the organizers had participating artists draw indoors. We ended up immortalizing the portraits of our anti-suicide role models using pastel on canvas instead.

I had the honor of presenting the finished work to Vice Chancellor Manuel Gomez, who retired in August 2010.
